Jack Overstreet is an Executive Director in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Cyber, Space, and National Security Policy Division. In his current capacity, Jack handles a collection of domestic and international cybersecurity policy issues affecting American businesses at home and abroad. Jack runs the Chamber’s Cyber Leadership Council, which provides Chamber members with deep policy expertise, advocacy, and business intelligence across a variety of economic security issues. Additionally, Jack co-leads Project Security, the Chamber’s international cyber policy working group, which focuses on developing and advocating for the Chamber’s policies before foreign governments, the administration, and the business community.

Prior to his time at the Chamber, Jack spent six years in the U.S. Senate as a policy staffer for the late Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA). During his time in the U.S. Senate, Jack supported Senator Isakson’s financial policy portfolio during consideration of the 2014 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act before leading the Senator’s trade, energy, transportation, and agriculture policy portfolios. As a Legislative Assistant, Jack supported Georgia’s interests during the 2018 Farm Bill deliberations and represented the Senator’s trade priorities at the Senate Finance Committee during negotiations of the U.S.-Mexico-Canda Agreement (USMCA).  

Jack holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies and Political Science from Sewanee: The University of the South. A native of Northern Virginia, he currently resides in Arlington with his wife.
