Senior Vice President for the Stand Together Community

Sarah Cross is a senior vice president for the Stand Together community. She leads efforts across Stand Together to leverage the 250th anniversary of America’s founding to revitalize the American Dream and get every American engaged in civic life. She previously directed Stand Together’s work to defend free speech & bridge divides. 

Sarah served as the founding board chair of the New Pluralists Collaborative — a national initiative bringing together diverse philanthropies, researchers, educators, community leaders, and justice advocates to promote a culture of peaceful pluralism. She also serves on the board of the Trust for Civic Infrastructure – a pooled fund supporting innovative civic spaces that foster collaboration in communities across America. She has been featured in USA Today and the Chronicle of Philanthropy, among other publications.
