Steve Webb

Managing partner for the Forvis Mazars

Steve is the managing partner for the Forvis Mazars office located in Wichita which serves the State of Kansas. He is responsible for the administration, planning, oversight, and operations of the office and its employees, all of whom service clients across the state in industries including healthcare, construction, real estate, manufacturing, dealerships, hospitality, nonprofits, governmental, financial institutions, and private individuals.

He has spent most of his career advising clients in construction and real estate and providing tax planning services for closely held and multinational corporations, including the analysis of tax issues impacting mergers and acquisitions and involvement with the due diligence team. In addition, he advises on multistate and federal issues as well as succession planning, including family transition, employee stock ownership plan, third-party buyout, or private equity investment. He has assisted clients in implementing real estate cost segregation strategies, research and development tax credits, state and local tax credits, and other industry-specific tax and business solutions.

Steve is active in his community, serving on the board of directors for Empower, the board of directors for the Wichita Art Museum, the board of advisors for the Kansas Chamber of Commerce, and the government relations committee for the Wichita Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he serves on the accounting advisory board for Wichita State University.

He is a graduate of Iowa State University, Ames, with a B.B.A. degree in accounting.
