Toni Porter rejoined the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce as Vice President of Government Relations in August of 2022. She previously worked in Government Relations at The Chamber from 2015 to 2017.
From 2017 – 2021, Toni lived in Washinton, DC where she served as Chief of Protocol at the Central Intelligence Agency and Senior Advisor to the Secretary of State at the United States Department of State. Earlier in her career, she worked as District Director for former United States Congressman Mike Pompeo (KS-4) whose district included Wichita and the surrounding area.
Toni is actively involved in the community. She is on the board of directors for the Wichita Public Library Foundation; a sustaining member of the Junior League of Wichita; a founding of member of the HopeNet Docent Society; an Emeritus member of the board of governors of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Excellence in Public Service Series. She was a state delegate to the Kansas Republican Convention in 2016.
An Augusta, Kansas native, Toni earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from Kansas State University. As the proud mother of Nick, a spirited University of Kansas graduate, Toni gladly chants “Rock Chalk” for the Jayhawks, so long as they aren’t playing her alma mater! Toni and her husband Paul live in Wichita and are avid sports fans. They also enjoy traveling, movies and spending time with their three beloved dogs.
